From the Limes to the Baroque
Once the castle grounds were located in the Roman province of Raetia. At that time, there was even a small fort in Lauchheim with around 160 Roman soldiers. But what was life like in the Ostalb region during Roman times?
Limes Cicerona Sonja Heinen takes guests on a themed tour from the Limes to the Baroque. Afterwards, the team at Restaurant Fermata serves an authentic menu from the Roman era.
