Project "Playfully healty"
cooperation with HMDK Suttgart

The integration of intervention measures within the setting of state music conservatories is a consistent continuation of previous preventive efforts in the field of musician health by the Foundation Kapfenburg Castle. Following a successful pilot project in 2019, the collaboration with the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart has been re-established.

In September 2022, the project "Playfully Healthy - Student Health Management at HMDK Stuttgart" started with two inspiring courses at Kapfenburg castle. The project is implemented by HMDK Stuttgart in cooperation with Schloss Kapfenburg, and with the support and funding of Techniker Krankenkasse, a statutory German health insurance.

The three-year project is dedicated to strengthen the health competence and resilience of HMDK students. It enables a more conscious and sustainable handling of their physical, mental and emotional resources, which remains sustainable throughout their professional lives. Ideally the knowledge will be passed on to students, colleagues, etc.
