This is where the music plays
The international significance of music and culture is constantly growing in a time of increasing globalisation and changing forms of society. The education of key qualifications such as tolerance, cosmopolitanism, discipline, perseverance, reliability and creativity is of enormous importance for positive social development in Europe. The music schools in the towns and communities of Baden-Württemberg and Germany make an important contribution to this in the extracurricular education sector.
The foundation offers further education programmes and also specifically accompanies teachers from public music schools on their way to making the institutions fit for the future. These prevention programmes of the foundation are supported by the Landesverband der Musikschulen Baden-Württembergs e.V., the Deutsche Rentenversicherung and "Die Techniker".
The Landesverband der Musikschulen Baden-Württembergs e.V. and the Förderverein Internationales Musik- und Kulturzentrum Schloss Kapfenburg e.V. have established the International Music School Academy Cultural Centre Schloss Kapfenburg with the support of the state of Baden-Württemberg, the Ostalbkreis district and the town of Lauchheim. The operation of this institution promotes young people from all over Europe to get to know each other and grow together.
