Ideal Rehearsal Conditions

Part of the task of the International Music School Academy is to take on the (inter)cultural and musical education of young people in Baden-Württemberg. The main target group is the 216 Music Schools in Baden-Württemberg. Behind this number are in turn around 7,600 full and part-time teachers, who guide some 190,000 students from their first musical experience to preperation for studying music at higher education level.

As well as Music Schools, Schloss Kapfenburg offers ideal practice conditions to national and international ensembles, music groups and choirs from schools, clubs and societies. The castle also represents a unique possibility for professional musicians to carry out intensive routines. The musical guests at the academy bring a great potential for creativity and musical ability and working with them helps us with our training and education projects.
