From the A7
Aalen/Westhausen exit, then B29 towards Bopfingen/Nördlingen and turn right shortly before Lauchheim, up the hill to the castle.
Buses should avoid this steep, windy road by continuing on the B29 into Lauchheim. In Lauchheim, turn right after the OMV petrol station and continue up the hill to Kapfenburg Castle.
From Stuttgart
B29 towards Bopfingen/Nördlingen, turn right shortly before Lauchheim up the hill to the castle. Buses should continue into Lauchheim, turning right after the OMV petrol station
Tip for satellite navigation systems
Kapfenburg Castle has no road name. Simply enter “Lauchheim” into your system as your destination. The castle is well signposted and visible from some distance.
