At Schloss Kapfenburg we make music. Namely since 1999, when the International Music School Academy moved into the former home of the Teutonic Order after an extensive renovation programme. Groups of musicians from the whole world come here to practise in the castle’s stylish rooms, which are also available to businesses who hold conferences here. The castle offers a total of 133 beds. All guests are treated to a creative, regional cuisine by the castle’s restaurant, Fermata.

There’s music in there! Many activities take place at Schloss Kapfenburg, all of which have a common aim: to perpetuate and pass on musical culture and education. Culture-lovers will love the Accelerando concert series and the summer festival. The Capriccio training programme offers further training for those who work in music school management. And the Centre for Music and Health takes care of musicians’ well-being with information and activities to help keep our musical guests healthy.
